Welcome, everyone! I’m so excited for my brand new dance fitness class. My name is Lizzy ​Gibson, and today we’re going to have an amazing time moving and grooving together.


This class is a unique blend of dance and fitness, incorporating some fun props to make our ​workout even more effective and enjoyable. We’ll be using towels and foam sticks, each ​bringing its own special benefits to our routine.


First up, let’s talk about towel dances. Using towels (provided) in our dance routines helps to ​improve our grip strength and flexibility. The resistance provided by the towels engages our ​muscles in a different way, making our movements more dynamic and effective. This can help ​core strength and balance, tone our arms and shoulders, while also improving our coordination ​and range of motion.


Next, we’ll be dancing with foam sticks (provided). These are fantastic for adding an element of ​fun and creativity to our workouts. Foam sticks help improve our hand-eye coordination and ​rhythm. They also provide a great way to engage our upper body, especially our arms and core, ​as well as balance, as we move them in sync with our dance steps. The light resistance of the ​foam sticks can help in toning muscles and enhancing our overall endurance.


Throughout this class, we’ll be combining these props with various dance styles to keep things ​exciting and challenging. Remember, the goal is to have fun, stay active, and enjoy the music. ​So, let’s get started and dance our way to fitness together!
